Director gains Membership of the Institute for Learning (IfL)
RWTC Director Richard Willis has recently gained membership of the IfL, the professional body for teachers and trainers. Under 2007 government regulations all trainers must provide evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The IfL promotes a CPD model based on reflective practice and supports trainers in engaing in professional development.Institution of Engineering Designers - Medal of Appreciation
Our Director, Richard Willis, has been presented with a Medal of Appreciation for his work with the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED). Richard joined the IED as a Member in 1988, upgrading to Fellow in 1999.
The award was presented in recognition of Richard's long service, dedication and involvement in
the development of assessment and procedures for membership applications in the CAD division and
redesigning the Institution's CPD scheme into the electronic format that is used today.
